Siem Offshore in major tactical maneuver

As a step in its restructuring, Siem Offshore has established an independent company with Singa Star for some of the carrier's vessels. More carriers are welcome, Siem Offshore's CFO tells ShippingWatch.

One of the largest Norwegian offshore carriers, Siem Offshore, has divested all of its AHTS vessels as part of a restructuring, informs the carrier in a corporate statement.

The eight AHTS vessels, which thus far have been under ownership of Siem Offshore and formed part of a pool with two AHTS vessels from Singa Star, will now be transferred to a newly established company named Siem AHTS Pool AS.
