Rem Offshore CEO steps down before merger

Group CEO of Rem Offshore, Arild Myrvoll, has stepped down. This is just before the company is to be merged with Solstad Offshore, a maneuver orchestrated by Aker's Kjell Inge Røkke.

Rem Offshore's Group CEO Arild Myrvoll has decided to step down and will leave the carrier on October 10th, when the company hosts a special general assembly, Rem Offshore writes in a corporate statement.
