Energy CEO: We must find the right solution for energy companies

Maersk will likely have found a solution for how the energy companies can be spun off before the end of 2018, says Claus Hemmingsen, CEO of the Energy division, at the group's Capital Markets Day.

Focus is 100 percent on finding the right structural solution for the four business units in Maersk's Energy division.

"We want to maximize value for shareholders through active ownership of the companies, and we want to ensure that they consider structural changes from a position of strength," explained Maersk Energy CEO and Vice Group CEO Claus Hemmingsen at the group's Capital Markets Day in Copenhagen this Tuesday.
