New victim in the oil crisis strains Singapore's maritime sector

The downturn for yet another of the prominent offshore companies in Singapore, Ezra Holdings, could drag down more victims in the series of oil and gas related companies which have at this point succumbed to the crisis. The banks are just one of the sectors being hit.

The crisis at Singapore-based offshore company Ezra Holding became obvious a few weeks ago, but the scope of the company's downfall has since widened and triggered fears that there could be more unpleasant news in store, and that Ezra's financial crisis could end up dragging down more victims in the island state's maritime sphere.
