Norwegian suppliers: Statoil is too powerful

Norwegian subcontractors to the offshore industry are highly dependent on Statoil, and the oil major increasingly exploits this power to pressure suppliers into accepting ever-declining prices on contracts in the weak market, says the organization Maritimt Forum in comments to media Sysla.no, while urging politicians to examine Statoil's position of power.
