Wilhelmshaven in Germany is among the ports that have benefited from the new container alliances, and the port will now expand its workforce by one third in order to meet carriers' demand.

While numerous ports across the globe are left standing as losers after the new container alliance networks were launched in the spring, Germany's Wilhelmshaven is on the winning side.
