DP World's concession to operate Doraleh Container Terminal in Djibouti is legally binding and applies in full, stresses the Dubai-based port operator in a public notice directed at any party with plans to build and operate a port in the East African nation, which could challenge the validity of DP World's concession agreement with the Djibouti government.

In the beginning of the year, the government took over DP World's container terminal in the country. According to the company, this was the culmination of protracted long-term negotiations for the concession deal which the government had sought to change.
