Higher oil price boosts container trade in West Africa ahead to 2021

There is improvement on the way for the West African ports after the area has been particularly squeezed by oil prices for more than a decade, shows a new report from Dynmar. The report forecasts higher growth in container rates ahead to 2021.

Container volumes in West African ports will reach 4.3 million teu in 2021, says Dutch shipping analyst Dynamar B.V in a new report. In 2017, total volumes were 3.56 million teu.
