The US defends support for sulfur proposal in 11th hour

At the last minute, the US has opted to support an experience building-phase for the global sulfur regulations. It is not a matter of postponing or changing anything, the US delegation tells ShippingWatch. The decision has nevertheless caused a big stir at this week's IMO meeting.
