APM Terminals expands in key Mexican port

Maersk's port and terminal operator expands its terminal in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, where volumes are expected to increase by up to 35 percent this year.

APM Terminals is prepared to invest in expanding its terminal in the Port of Progreso in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.

Specifically, the Maersk-owned port and terminal operator will expand the terminal's capacity by 20 percent, investing an expected USD 714,000, the company writes.
