CMA CGM partners up to make substantial investment in Abu Dhabi's largest port

French CMA CGM has agreed with Abu Dhabi's AD Ports Group on a multi-million dollar investment in a new container terminal at the desert state's Khalifa Port.

French shipping group CMA CGM is teaming up with AD Port Group for a new joint venture which will invest AED 570 million (USD 154 million) in a new container terminal in Abu Dhabi.

CMA CGM has entered a deal with the port company for the substantial investment, which affords CMA CGM and AD Port Group a 35-year concession deal for the terminal in Abu Dhabi's large Khalifa Port, the parties write in a press release.
