The second quarter of the year was extremely favorable for French CMA CGM. The company significantly raised both its top line and its operating profit.

While revenue has risen to USD 12.41 billion from USD 7.0 billion at the same time last year, the operating result (EBITDA) lands at USD 4.58 billion, which represents an increase of almost 280 percent compared to the result for the second quarter of 2020 of 1.21 billion dollars. The bottom line has also grown enormously to USD 3.48 billion from USD 136 million last year.
