Port workers call off strike in Liverpool after wage raise

After the announcement of a wage increase of up to 18 percent, 600 port workers in Liverpool have dropped their plans to strike. The British port has been hit by several strike actions during labor agreement negotiations.

Around 600 port workers in Liverpool have called off an announced strike after workers’ union Unite landed a new agreement with the employer, Peel Ports.
