Saudi Arabian port calls more than halved

In the first three months of the year, the country’s largest ports saw a drop in the number of calls of around 63%, mainly due to the crisis in the Red Sea.

The number of calls to the Saudi Arabian ports of Jeddah and King Abdullah City suffered a 63% drop in the first quarter of 2024 compared to 2023, according to the research house Alphaliner.
