US dockworkers set to start master contract talks

After stalled negotiations, US dockworkers and their employers are now ready to meet and discuess a main collective agreement soon.

The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) and the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) expect to begin negotiations on a collective agreement after local negotiations are expected to conclude on May 17.
