New terminal operators challenge the biggest
PSA International, Hutchison Ports, APM Terminals, and DP World are still the biggest in the world, but new aggressive players are entering the field.

The four terminal operators, PSA International, Hutchison Ports, APM Terminals, and DP World maintain their positions as the world's biggest operators based on the amount of containers handled, and with the latter two, in particular, being highly active in acquisitions, according to analysts Drewry's annual survey Global Container Terminals Operators.
