APM Terminals preparing Algeciras for Triple-E

APM Terminals plans to invest 19 million euros in the Algeciras terminal to prepare the port to handle the next generation of container ships, particularly Maersk Line's Triple-E ships.

APM Terminals is getting ready to handle Maersk Line's Triple-E ships in Algeciras, where the 18,000 teu vessels are already calling at this time. As such, the terminal operator plans to invest 19 million euros to improve the infrastructure in and around the terminal, says the company according to Hellenic Shipping News.
