
China Shipping Group's volumes and plans for the future makes the company an interesting partner for APM Terminals, says Francois-Xavier Delenclos, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development after the terminal operator on Wednesday announced that the two parties have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at a strategic collaboration going forward.
This happens approximately one year after the parties signed another memorandum of understanding, stating that the Chinese conglomerate would acquire 24 percent of APM Terminals' shares in the Belgian Zeebrugge terminal.
