Port of Hamburg notes big slide in container throughput
800,000 fewer containers from China, Russia and Poland hit the Port of Hamburg with a combined drop of 9.3 percent in container throughput in 2015.

Container volumes through the Port of Hamburg declined 9.3 percent in 2015, a decline driven especially by lower volumes from China, Russia and Poland, corresponding to 800,000 teu less from the three key trade partners compared to the year before.
