DP World projects continued growth in 2016

Dubai-based terminal operator DP World handled slightly more containers in the first quarter of the year, driven mainly by Europe and India, and the group expects to grow more than the market in 2016.

Global terminal operator DP World had its hands on a growing number of containers in the first three months of 2016.

The group's combined container throughput grew 3.7 percent to a total 15.5 million teu, writes DP World in a press release on Thursday.
