Suez Canal raises transit toll by 6 percent

From February, Suez Canal Authority will increase its transit toll by 6 percent for nearly all merchant vessels passing through the waterway.

The Suez Canal Authority will increase its transit toll by 6 percent for most ships, with the exception of LNG carriers and cruise ships, according to a press release.
