Hempel CEO switches to Vestas

Hempel Group CEO Henrik Andersen resigns from his post to take over as CEO at Vestas. His replacement will be COO Lars Petersson, who has been part of management since 2015.

After three years as chief executive of coating supplier Hempel, Henrik Andersen steps down, informs Hempel on Tuesday.

Andersen will leave on July 1 to become CEO at Vestas instead. He will be replaced by Lars Petersson, who is currently executive vice president and chief operating officer at Hempel, a position he has held since 2015. The board of directors regrets Andersen's departure, but Chairman Richard Sand has great expectations of the new CEO.
