February snowstorm in Texas hits tanker companies

February's major snowstorm, which covered much of the US, also hit the country's crude oil production in Texas, causing bad news for tanker companies, assesses Bimco.

The beginning of 2021 saw the largest drop in US oil production since 2018, largely due to the February snowstorm that hit large parts of the US, including Texas, the country's main oil state.
