Container rates decrease for the first time in ten weeks

Spot rates on container freight fell for the first time in more than two months, according to Shanghai index SCFI.

For the first time in ten weeks, container rates have decreased, shows the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI), which measures spot prices on container freight from Shanghai to a number of global destinations.
