Oaktree expands its presence in Star Bulk

Majority shareholder in Greek Star Bulk, equity fund Oaktree, uses its large ownership stake to insert another one of its people on the shipping company's board of directors.

Equity fund Oaktree takes even more control of Greek dry bulk ship operator Star Bulk.

In an update, Star Bulk reports that Oaktree has decided to use its large stake in the shipping company to appoint one of its people to the Star Bulk board of directors.
