J. Lauritzen owner injects millions following major loss in 2019

Danish shipping company J. Lauritzen once again receives assistance from its owner following a tough 2019, which saw yet another major deficit, according to the annual report, which reveals a bottom line landing at a deficit of USD 105 million.

"2019 was no easy year," Chief Executive Mads P. Zacho tells ShippingWatch, pointing out that prospects for 2020 are highly uncertain due to the coronavirus outbreak, which has led to partial shutdowns of several important economies.
