Scorpio Bulkers has now sold more than 26 ships as part of dry bulk exit

Scorpio Bulkers has been selling off ships in the past four months as part of its exit from the dry bulk sector. A total of 26 ships have gotten new owners, most recently two ultramax vessels.

Scorpio Bulkers has been busy selling ships from its fleet ahead of its planned exit from the dry bulk shipping sector.

A total of 26 ships have gotten new owners since late September, when the company kicked off a fire sale of ships. Most recently, Scorpio Bulkers has sold two ultramax vessels to an unnamed buyer, according to a press release.
