Eagle Bulk delivers its best operating profit yet

US-based Eagle Bulk comes out of the second quarter of 2021 with its best operating result yet, and the promising market appears to be on track for strong growth in the coming months, says CEO Gary Vogel.

Eagle Bulk is cashing in on the strongest dry bulk market in over a decade and exits the second quarter with the best operating result so far.

The dry bulk carrier lands an operating profit (EBITDA) of USD 62.7 million in the second quarter against USD 9.7 million in the same period of 2020, reads the earnings report.
