Pacific Basin eyes strong market continuing beyond 2022

A strong dry bulk market turned a deficit around to the largest profit ever for major Hong Kong-based line Pacific Basin in 2021. The carrier sees strong trends lasting longer than for just this year.

Pacific Basin joins the group of dry bulk shipping lines with record results for 2021, and the Hong Kong-based carrier is confident that there’s more to be gained both this year and beyond.

The upturn has proven favorable to Pacific Basin, which in 2021 turned a deficit from the preceding year into a plus and the ”best results in our 34-year history.”
