Golden Ocean orders three newbuilds and divests two ultramax vessels

Dry bulk carrier Golden Ocean has purchased three kamsarmax ships and sold two ultramax vessels at the same time, according to a company statement.

John Fredriksen-controlled dry bulk carrier Golden Ocean has done some summer shopping in the form of three newbuilds. At the same time, the carrier sells two ultramax vessels.

The three vessels on order for construction are high-specification 85,000 dwt ECO-type dual-fuel ready kamsarmax vessels, according to a company statement.
