Lightship: Highly satisfactory 2013

Lightship achieved a profit of USD 694,700 in 2013, surpassing its own expectations for a year characterized by low freight rates, say the carrier in its annual report.

A bulk market under pressure was not enough to derail dry bulk operator Lightship, which achieved a 2013 net revenue of USD 12.2 million, a small improvement compared to 2012's USD 11.3 million, according to the company's annual report.
