J. Lauritzen to transport 600,000 tons wood pellets

J. Lauritzen has renewed a contract with US-based Green Circle Bio Energy, which means that the carrier will transport 600,000 tons of wood pellets from the US to the EU over the next eight years.

Danish dry bulk carrier J. Lauritzen has won a contract with US-based Green Circle Bio Energy to transport wood pellets. Specifically, Lauritzen's ships will transport 600,000 tons wood pellets from the US to Europe over the next eight years, says the carrier.

The two companies are no strangers to each other, as they are already working together. In 2012 the companies signed a six-year deal to transport wood pellets.
