
Just a few days after Kristian Mørch, CEO and partner of Clipper Group, chose to step down from the board at Thorco Shipping, following disagreements concerning the future strategy of the company, CFO Kent Hedegaard, has now decided to leave the carrier as well. He is leaving for the same reason, says chairman Thor Stadil in a comment to ShippingWatch.
Kent Hedegaard took the position as new CFO of Thorco in the summer of 2014, and shared the management with CEO Thomas Mikkelsen, who is also a partner in the company. Kent Hedegaard, authorized accountant and former partner of PwC, previously served as accountant for Thorco for a number of years.
