Star Bulk Carriers sheds newbuildings in new fire sale

Equity group Oaktree Capital's major bulk venture, Greek Star Bulk, has divested another four Capesize newbuildings, informs the carrier in a notice to the stock exchange.

Greece's Star Bulk Carriers, which has equity fund Oaktree Capital as its primary stakeholder, is selling four Capesize newbuildings for a gross price of USD 148 million, informs the carrier in a statement to the New York Stock Exchange.
