Scorpio Bulkers in USD 510 million net loss for 2015

The struggling dry bulk behemoth shut the door on 2015 with a net loss of USD 510.7 million. The carrier has secured renegotiated conditions with lenders to reduce payments, and newbuilding deliveries have been pushed back.

Dry bulk giant Scorpio Bulkers, renowned for its aggressive expansion efforts and massive fleet of eco-design newbuildings, exits 2015 with a net deficit of USD 510.7 million, including large-scale asset impairments, compared to a deficit of USD 116.5 million in 2014, according to the company's annual report 2015, published Monday.
