Gearbulk in secret settlement regarding Bulk Jupiter wreck

The legal process regarding liability for the wreck of Bulk Jupiter, in which 18 crew members were killed, has been concluded in a secret settlement. Signs point to the vessel's owner, carrier Gearbulk, and its insurance company winning out.

The carrier Gearbulk and Asian shipping group Winning Shipping have, according to ShippingWatch's information, reached a settlement in the case of liability in the dramatic shipwreck of the dry bulk vessel Bulk Jupiter in January 2015, in which 18 out of 19 crew members on board were lossed.
