Thorco: We have thought a lot about leaving shipping

"How long can we live with it when things are doing so badly and we're losing so much money," asks Thor Stadil, discussing the developments at Thorco Shipping in Danish newspaper Berlingske

The money continues to drain out of family-owned carrier Thorco Shipping, which is controlled by Thor and Christian Stadil. According to Danish daily Berlingske, they have chosen to give the specialized carrier more time, but thoughts of withdrawing completely from shipping have been very present.   

"Yes, we have thought extremely hard about whether we should drop shipping. How long can we endure it, when things are doing so badly and we're losing so much money. How long can we throw good money after bad. But we have decided to give it more time. Because it should pick up again," says Thor Stadil, Chairman of the multipurpose and project carrier Thorco Shipping:
