New dry bulk behemoth cleared by US regulators

The announced joint venture G2 Ocean between Gearbulk and Norway's Grieg Star is on track with its plans to launch operations in the first half of 2017.

The two dry bulk carriers Gearbulk and Grieg Star have received approval from US regulators for their new joint venture, G2 Ocean, inform the carriers, which has already secured similar approvals from authorities in Poland, Germany, and Brazil.
