Former J. Lauritzen CEO to head bulk carrier Pioneer Marine

Former CEO of J. Lauritzen, Torben Janholt, has been tapped as chief executive officer of another dry bulk carrier.

Torben Janholt has been appointed CEO of the Oslo-listed bulk carrier Pioneer Marine, which until now has been headquartered in Singapore.

The former J. Lauritzen CEO and chairman of Danish Shipping will head the carrier, which operates a fleet of 16 dry bulk vessels, including 14 Handysize ships, one Handymax, and one Supramax.
