Hapag-Lloyd third quarter result rises sharply

CEO Rolf Habben Jansen expects that the strong demand which has benefited the industry this year will continue into 2018, he says in a comment to ShippingWatch. Efficiency has picked up significantly.

Hapag-Lloyd left the third quarter 2017 with a significant positive net profit and a much improved operating result, according to a statement from the carrier.
