Former UASC executive takes over central role in Hapag-Lloyd

A Danish executive with a past at Maersk Line and who has served as CCO of UASC will become the new head of Hapag-Lloyd in North America from April 1 of this year.

Uffe Østergaard, the former head of Maersk Line and United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), will be the new president for North America at Hapag-Lloyd from April 1, revealed the German container carrier in a press release.
