There is a big difference between the wages paid to female and male employees at Maersk Line's UK subsidiary. The liner company has published the numbers after a new British law forces companies to publish wage figures for their employees, reports Danish business daily Børsen.

The reported numbers so far indicate that Maersk Line's male employees in the UK are paid 29 percent more than the female employees.
