Hyundai Merchant Marine confirms plans to order 20 mega-vessels

Hyundai Merchant Marine will order 20 eco-design ultra-large container ships, the South Korean liner company confirms Tuesday. Sulfur cap solutions have been chosen for all vessels.

South Korea's top liner company Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) confirms a highly anticipated order Tuesday for 20 ultra-large container ships.

Hyundai Merchant will order 12 container ships of more than 20,000 teu and 8 ships of 14,000 teu, says the carrier in a press release.
