Growing optimism for box carriers the next three years

Three factors could threaten what looks like a cautious recovery for liner companies in terms of supply and demand ahead of 2021, says SeaIntel in a new analysis.

Demand for container shipping grew in the first months of the year compared to last year. The same applies to the rate level in contracts, reports SeaIntel, and in terms of supply and demand, the firm is optimistic about the time ahead of 2021.
