Container sector still struggling with schedule reliability

The biggest liner shipping companies were better at arriving on time in the second quarter after reaching new record lows in the first months of the year, shows a survey by SeaIntel. But schedule reliability is down compared to the second quarter last year.

More of the container carriers' ships arrived on time in the second quarter of the year after the sector reached new record lows for the schedule reliability in the first months of the year. But when compared to the second quarter last year, reliability decreased once again, shows the latest  survey published by SeaIntel.
