11 seafarers kidnapped from ship chartered to Maersk Line in Nigeria

A container ship owned by Peter Döhle Schiffahrts and chartered out to Maersk Line was attacked by pirates in Nigeria on Saturday. 11 seafarers have been taken hostage, while nine are safe, writes Maersk Line to ShippingWatch.

Pirates in Nigeria have attacked a ship owned by Peter Döhle Schiffarhts and chartered out to Maersk Line have taken 11 seafarers hostage, reports news agency Reuters, citing Polish media.
