MPC Container Ships hit by softening market

The shipowner increased its revenue, though the bottom line dipped slightly compared to the previous quarter. The launch is still costing, says management, which points to a weaker market in the third quarter and increased uncertainty going forward.

Revenue and operating profit both grew at MPC Container Ships, which was established by a German equity fund about a year and a half ago, shows the company's third quarter interim report, published Friday.
