Maersk becomes co-owner of technology company Traxens, which provides tracking solutions for containers. At the same time, the shipping company orders equipment for 50,000 containers. CMA CGM and MSC are part of the ownership as well.
Maersk is now following CMA CGM and MSC by buying its way into a company that makes it possible to track containers digitally.
