Maersk launches new online product for customers

Maersk wants to simplify container transport for customers through a new online product that might contribute to averting over-booking.

A.P. Møller-Mærsk launches a new online product aimed at simplifying container transport for customers as well as averting over-booking.

The product is named Maersk Spot and will guarantee customers that their cargoes are loaded, writes Maersk in a press statement Tuesday morning CET. The product comes at a fixed price, which customers will pay in advance.
