US authorities have charged a crew member of container vessel MSC Gayane concerning the record-breaking cocaine find aboard the ship when it docked in Philadelphia in June.
Specifically, Montenegrin engineering trainee Nenad Ilic, 39, has been charged with "conspiring to violate maritime drug-smuggling laws" in connection with the case, in which authorities found 20 tons of cocaine aboard the container ship, newspaper Philadelphia Inquirer writes based on court documents.
